It’s quite normal to notice an increased thirst in your dog during the first few weeks of transitioning to a low-moisture diet such as our Freeze-dried, Cold-pressed or Kibble + Raw food. Diets which have a low moisture content will naturally cause an increased thirst in most dogs to begin with. You should find the drinking will settle down and regulate within the first six weeks of transitioning.
